What is the difference between Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination?
Support Coordination helps you understand and implement your NDIS plan, connect with providers, and build your capacity. Specialist Support Coordination is for participants with more complex needs — it involves a higher level of expertise and is designed to address significant barriers and complex support environments.
Is Support Coordination funded in my NDIS plan?
Support Coordination is funded under the "Capacity Building" budget in your NDIS plan. Not all plans include it — it depends on your individual circumstances. If you're unsure whether your plan includes it, contact us and we can help you check.
Can I change my Support Coordinator?
Yes, absolutely. You have the right to choose your own providers, including your Support Coordinator. If you're not happy with your current coordinator, you can switch at any time. We're happy to assist with a smooth transition.
How often will I hear from my Support Coordinator?
This depends on your needs and what's in your plan. Some participants need weekly contact, others monthly. We tailor our level of engagement to what works best for you — and we're always available when something comes up.
